Founded in 2023 by Toyosi Yusuf, For Di Gyal Dem named after the Jamaican Patois phrase meaning “those specific girls” is a vibrant social club that celebrates the beauty, culture, and community of women in Chicago. Our events spotlight the richness of the Black, African, and Caribbean diaspora through music, food, and authentic connections.
